Note, SCP may provide a 3.27 or a 3.31:1 ratio set depending upon availability. These ratios are so close that they are considered virtually the same.
We highly recommend the 3.27:1 ratio for the '89-95 supercharged manual transmission cars. This is the ratio that Ford should have put in them from the factory instead of the 2.73:1 ratio.
This ratio is stock for most automatic transmission supercharger cars and many of the '95+ 4.6L cars. This ratio is also factory installed on the Mark VIII LSCs. So, if you have one of these cars our ring/pinion set will make a great replacement set if yours is worn out.
If you have an automatic transmission car and are looking for an upgrade then we recommend the 3.55, 3.73 or the 4.10 ratios.
