This fitting is an optional item for the SCP/Kooks Mid-length headers. If your car originally came with EGR, then we highly suggest you retain the EGR setup on your car. If the EGR is deleted, then a check engine code will illuminate and emissions compliance will likely be compromised.
The fitting will be welded to one of the header primaries so it will be located in the exact same location as the factory EGR fitting. This is NOT something you can buy separately and add later without a real hassle. Buy it if you need it when ordering your headers.
Who needs the EGR fitting?
All '89/90 5-speed cars came with EGR.
Very few '89/90 automatic cars came with EGR....check your car prior to ordering.
All '94/95 cars came with EGR.
None of the '91-93 cars came with EGR.
