LiveWires are built with a very cool braided and shrink-wrapped outer cover for enhanced abrasion protection. The braided cover allows the wires to withstand a staggering 1,400 degrees Fahrenheit! The sleeving is heat treated glass braid and is non-flammable and non-corrosive to chemicals. Approximately 1/2" in diameter, LiveWires perform great and look awesome! The 3.8L SC LiveWires are custom fit, so no assembly is required. LiveWires do not produce electronic interference such as radio noise and computer interference, due to the spiral wound core.
Due to the larger than stock diameter of these wires they will not fit the factor plastic wire looms. We suggest that you consider also purchasing the trick looking billet aluminum wire looms to fit wproperly route your new LiveWire set.
