This throttle body is specifically designed for the 3.8L SC engine and has the correct throttle linkage. This unit also is a direct fit for the 5.0L engines in the '91-93 T-bird/Cougar.
A terrific upgrade to the induction side of your engine.
Get rid of that puny 60mm stock unit and experience an easy gain of 10 to 12 HP.
This unit has a 3" clamping diameter that bolts up to the stock intake tube as well as the SCP 3" Fresh Air System or the MAC intake kit. If you have a 3.5" intake tube then we can provide some adapter to make this fit. Call us to order.
Note: The 70 and 75mm Tbodies are identical in appearance. Only the inside diameters are unique. Each is externally etched with either the "70mm" or "75mm" size.
A stock throttle body is shown for comparison purposes only.
NOTE: We HIGHLY recommend you purchase a new idle air control valve for use on your new Tbody. SCP sells this as a related item for your convenience.
